ELECTION HUSTINGS A Hustings Event for the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey Constituency, sponsored by churches in Inverness, Nairn and the surrounding district, is planned to take place in the Town House, Inverness at 7.30pm on 28th April. Seating in the Town House is limited, so you are advised to get there early! All candidates known so far to be standing have agreed to attend and answer your questions. Holy Week and Easter 2010
Each of our Churches have their own special services for Holy Week and Easter, but there is also a lot we do together. You are invited to all of these special joint services:
PALM SUNDAY (28 March) Evening service with music from a combined choir from across Inverness, 8pm, Old High Church
MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY (29-31 March) at 6.30 pm services at Inverness Methodist Church, with readings of the Passion Narratives; 7 pm prayers at the Olive Grove led by Rev. Dr Peter Donald
MAUNDY THURSDAY (1 April) Joint service with the Hillside Churches at Crown Church. Meal at 6.30pm, Communion led by Rev Peter W. Nimmo at 7.30pm
GOOD FRIDAY (2 April) service for the City of Inverness at the Salvation Army, Tomnahurich Street, 7.30pm. Preacher Rev Dr Peter Howson, Inverness Methodist Church
EASTER MORNING (4 April) City Centre Walk, starting at the Old High at 7am. Communion Service at the Old High, 8am, with breakfast to follow
